My name is Chef Donald James, owner/operator of Pit Stop BBQ. I have been a Chef for over 15 years and have worked for companies like, The Holiday Inn, 8 River Caribbean Café, and Wystone’s Grubbery as the Executive Chef in each position held. I have work with Colorado’s leading Chefs, Chef Keith Jones with Honey Smoked Fish Co, Chef Joesph B Westley with Lone Tree Golf Course & Resort & Chef Scott Durrah with 8 Rivers Caribbean Café & Jezebels Southern Bistro.
We serve mouthwatering 16-hour smoked Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Cajun Shrimp & Grit, and Chicken & Waffles. Along with bringing great food to the table, we will also develop BBQ sauce, Seasoning Packs, Marinades, and other retail items soon.
Our vision for the BBQ industry is a healthier style of BBQ starting from creation through consumption. By cooking and preparing meals using unconventional cooking & smoking methods, our mission is to produce great tasting foods while being mindful of creating it healthier.
Not only will we bring great food to the table we will also be developing our BBQ sauce, Seasoning Packs, Marinades and other retail items in the near future. We encourage that you select us, as we will do our best and put that step forward in order to help revitalize the city of Denver.
